Troubleshooting

CASE: Flash red light four times per second of Health LED

服务器前部 Health LED 每秒闪 4 次红灯，按开机键无反应，登录 iLO 检查，未查到具体报错信息。

・ Front panel LEDs and buttons

Health LED:

• Solid green = Normal
• Flashing amber = System degraded
• Flashing red (1 Hz/cycle per sec) = System critical
• Fast-flashing red (4 Hz/cycles per sec) = System power fault

初步判断为电源背板套件故障，或线缆接触不良。

CASE: CPU - Uncorectable Machine Check Exception

CPU MCE (Board 0, Processor 1, APIC ID Ox0000002A, Bank Ox00000001, Status OxBF80000000100134, Address0v000000100EEAA040.Micc0v0000000000000086)

The current server System ROM: U17 v2.20(05/1612016) may cause this error. Upgrade the System ROM to eliminate the error.

CASE: No raid controllers detected

服务器内存故障，关机断电更换内存后，开机识别不到阵列卡，属实莫名奇妙，拔插阵列卡也不好使。历经多次断电重启，最后又莫名奇妙好了，有点服了。
猜测是阵列卡电池有问题？
先记录一下，后续遇到相同问题再研究看看。

还有一次是服务器识别不到（偶尔能识别，重启后又丢失）阵列卡 Smart Array P830i Controller。经过排查，在 BIOS 中重新配置 boot mode = legacy，raid mode = disabled 解决，即禁用软 RAID。
